Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning of Filters
Ensure that you clean the central filter after each wash by rinsing it under running water. Additionally, clean the large filter regularly to prevent clogging. Proper cleaning will maintain efficient operation and prevent issues.
Correct Loading of Dishwasher
Properly arrange dishes to ensure that spray arms can rotate freely. Avoid overloading the baskets as this can lead to poor cleaning performance and potential mechanical issues.
Use of Correct Detergents
Use only tablets, powder, or liquid detergents specifically designed for domestic dishwashers. Ensure that the detergent is fresh and stored properly to maintain its effectiveness.
Regular Maintenance Wash
Every three months, run a 65°C wash program without dishes using detergent. This helps to maintain the cleanliness and efficiency of the internal components of the dishwasher.
Check and Refill Rinse Aid and Salt
Regularly check the levels of rinse aid and salt. Refill as necessary to ensure optimal cleaning results and to prevent lime deposits or white film on dishes.
